STEP 7. BLOG

What is a “BLOG”? Where does that name come from? I remember back in August of 2006 when I asked Joe Grushkin from Westport CT who was my sponsor in VM Direct’s streaming video portal “Hello World” business opportunity. I asked Joe ”What a “BLOG”?” Joe said “I don’t know, John, I’ve been wondering what they are too!” And here I thought Joe knew EVERYTHING!

Soon after that EVERYONE seemed to know what a BLOG was. For the record the word BLOG comes from the two (2) words “Web Log” = weB-LOG (i.e. “BLOG”)

In other words, it was a term used for an “Online Diary”.

Today, BLOGS are omnipresent and are one of the most widely used marketing tools internet marketers use to educate their market and provide “Massive Use Value” (MUV). When you know how to optimizi a BLOG it has the ability to earn you money because you have the opportunity to dominate the first page of the search engines!

A BLOG is even taking the place of a business’ website! There is almost no need for a company website anymore with the advent of the BLOG! For example look at what you are looking at right now … this is a BLOG which I refer to as “My Nerve Center”! This is a WORDPRESS (application) BLOG!

What I suggest every “newbie” (an affectionate term used for someone that is new to something, especially a novice at using computer technology or the Internet) do is create their first BLOG after they learn the first several STEPS I share here in this F.RE.E internet marketing training. Then record EVERYTHING you learn each day y making “posts” to your Blog! This will give you a track record of your progress and in a very short period of time you will have recorded your own history of your progress which will then become your social proof how you literally knew very little if anything at all when you started. Your BLOG posts will be time stamped as well!

You may even decide to start another BLOG focused on an area of interest, passion or niche! The key is to start typing and BE CONSIST with your posts. If you post everyday – then post every day! If you post once a week then post once a week, etc…

DON”T DO WHAT I DID and be afraid of starting your first BLOG! Start one right NOW! Like Nike says “JUST DO IT”! even if you have no idea what you are doing. Believe me it will come together and you will thank me later for insisting you start one right away! As a matter of fact – what I am going to suggest you do is consider your first BLOG to be your NERVE CENTER just like I have created here!!!!

To make this easy on you and have it done correctly (meaning have the most effect – ie optimized with all the key plugins), you may want to seriously consider doing what I did and have the person who created the framework for my Nerve Center do yours too!

Just ask me and I will introduce you to the person who I met that FINALLY after 2 years KNOWING this is what I needed to do came into my life. Once I got this framework built, I felt I was FINALLY able to “start”. My suggestion is DO NOT DO WHAT I DID! Get your framework built so you can be up and running ASAP. Believe me – it will all come together for you. This is what I desperately needed to get started with but I didn’t have that person to show me the way. The person you have is me and this Step By Step Guide. I am here for you to lead you by the hand. You do not have to wait 2 years and procrastinate like I did. I didn’t know what to do nor did I have the confidence in my knowledge of what I was learning.

I will say it again. You do not have those issues because I am here to SAVE YOU ALL THAT TIME!!!

[NOTE, remember the person I told you about who I invested my money with who agreed to hold me by the hand and teach me what I needed to do but left me on the side of the road gasping for air? Well I realize the fact of the matter was he had no clue what he was doing either. But what he did do and why he made $7,500 in his first 8 days (more $$ than he ever made before online or in any business for that matter) of getting involved with promoting the mentorship he discovered was because he TOOK ACTION! He took MASSIVE ACTION!]

Taking ACTION is most important AN INDIVIDUAL CAN DO!

Take MASSIVE ACTION even if you have no clue what you are doing and watch what happens! The world will beat a path to your door – especially if you are one of the early adapters to a new method of marketing like he was back in the first 1/2 of 2007!

Therefore one of the most important excercises you can do for yourself is create a BLOG for yourself on one of the following BLOG platforms:
