All three (3) of these pages generally refer to the same thing. The idea is to provide so much incentive that your reader / viewer of your email / video, etc want to fill in the form which will add their contact information to your proprietary list.
There are many “SINGLE MOST IMPORTANT” aspects to marketing online. Many will say the single most important thing is YOUR LIST(S). Others will argue TRAFFIC is most important while others will say CONVERSION. It’s like asking does the cart come before the horse? Each one of these aspects are important and one depends on the previous one. It’s like asking corporate executives what is more important – Sales or Marketing? And then how important is ACCOUNTING? The reality is they all work together to achieve the final result – REVENUE / PROFIT!
I say they are all most imporant but not in that order. However, as far as I am concerned the most imporant aspect you need to have is a R-E-L-A-T-I-O-N-S-H-I-P with those on your PROPRIETARY OPT IN LIST!
Having contacts on your Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Skype, etc is a start to establishing a relationship however moving your (new) friends/contacts on to your proprietary list is your goal. This is where you will be focusing your energies becasue these are the people who are telling you they want to know you better because you have something they want.
Bottom Line – whatever it takes to get a prospect to agree to get on your list is what matters yet it is the RELATIONSHIP you have with that prospect you develop is what is going to make the sale(s).
You do not need a big list to make sales. What you are interested in are the individuals who are to seeking / asking / screaming for the valuable information, product(s) and/or services you have to offer. The key is to have your process in tact in order to get an individual to take the action and opt in to your list so you can then automatically send messages to them via e-mail by use of an AUTO RESPONDER (see the next STEP)! This is one more of the MOST BASIC of BASICS of IMPORTANT TOOLS every internet marketer employs because it is what keeps each and every prospect ON THEIR SCHEDULE!
How can anyone possibly keep track of every prospect that opt in to their list(s)? Sales people do this every day! They keep diligent notes so they know when they spoke to a prospect or customer last and what they said. Well, what would you think if you were able to AUTOMATE your ENTIRE SALES PROCESS to the point where you no longer are spending 80% of your time looking for prospects and spending 80% of your time talking to prospects who are chasing you with their credit card in their hand begging to buy whatever it is you have for them to BUY from you?
